I may be upset UNH isn't playing tonight, but I'm not upset (0r surprised) Maine in representing HE well. I'm rooting for them in fact!!!!!!!!!

maine dodges a bullet early in the period as head is grabbed as being checked into the boards.
4 gophs in back of the net and then back for a big blast. that is speed.
announcer bias: " Puck didn't appear to be way offsides, but minnesota has to clear the zone." i did not know there were degrees of offside?
announcer bias: " long blast and maine gets glove on it. says shot was "Great" shot. but, there was not one in front of the net. maine was criticized for same type of shot.
only criticism of minne: "Hauser is always down on his knees early." they are really beating him up.
check on maine should have been more than a 2 minute. should have been at least a double minor. that was dangerous. incredibly dangerous.
maine pp really sucked. what was the right d waiting for on the shot. great shorthanded tries by minne. first, maine d waits on wide open shot, then takes a completely blocked, crappy shot.
shots maine 35 - minne 24 WOW!!
announcer bias: "Great scoring chance by minn." this was the fluttering, end over end, puck going to the left of yeats. On slo-mo, puck was going high and wide.
great saves by yeats on attack with 8:00 to go.
i'd like to see if the minne goalie is any good. most saves being made by diving forwards and defensman. great defensive play by minne.
schutte should get mvp. great scoring and body play.
maine is on fire before and immediately after their go ahead goal.
tallackson gets elbow into metcalfs face twice and not call. announcer says it was punishing hits. it's a penalty.
yeats is daring coming so far out of the net but almost blows it as Riddle (sp?) almost gets the goalie out of position goal like maine. i like that kind of goalie play. reminds me of hextall.
I LOVE CHEERLEADERS FOR HOCKEY. what other teams have them?
58 seconds and HOLY GOAL!!!!
WHAT A GAME!!!
hausers stick should have gotten him and penalty. minne should have come out with two and maine with one. if maine player would have faked some pain instead of pushing the stick away, might have drawn the penalty and the pp.
i think 4-4 favors minne and their speed. unfortunately for them, it was still 5 on 5.

I said to him, even though he hated Shawn Walsh, you should give a guy a break with cancer and the guy is gone. What a human being........????? I suppose he didn't anyone to catch up to BU in winning NCAA's.

how are total shots on goal?
If E$PN cared about the game they were televising, they might share the stats with us. Unfortunately, this is nothing more than filler programming for them, and they are treating it as such.
Maybe someone listening to the radio feed knows the stats.

I think I heard that shots were 40-28, Maine leading, through three periods.

I don't hate Shawn Walsh if that's what your implying. In fact I respect him very much. But just because he passed away doesn't mean Maine should just win the game. Plus Minny is overdue for a win.

Agressive D for MN on offense leads to a 2 on 1 chance, but Maine just couldn't get off a good chance!

Minnesota's three forwards were below the goal line there fishing for the puck, plus the weak side D pinched...not strong defensive hockey in OT, but they got away with it.
